Little Ghost Lanterns From Empty Cardboard Rolls

What you need: Empty cardboard rolls, white craft paint, a brush, a pencil, small scissors or a craft knife, and battery powered LED tea lights.

How to make it: Paint the rolls white and let them dry. Draw two eyes and a mouth on each one, then cut out the shapes. Trim the lower edges into uneven points and place an LED tea light inside each roll to make the faces glow.

You learn something new every day…Tonight while meeting a new pet sitting client, I learned about a Turkish breed of dog. He was very sweet too. He looks kinda like a corgi/Samoa. This is a Wikipedia picture, not my client’s picture. Now I have research to do. 🫶

Rainy days are good for crafts (we made zoo animal masks today-but this pumpkin punch game would be fun too), fort building, movies, & puppy snuggling or naps. We also did some counting & letter matching activities today. I know I’m ready for the rain to stop very soon!! Kids & pups need outside play time…

Anna’s pre fall/ colder weather PSA…if your tire inflator needs charged every so often, now would be a good time to do that! Mine was dead,and I had a low tire(s) warning this morning. 🫣😫🤦‍♀️ Luckily I made it okay to HyVee gas to fill them up. May need to remember to put my fall/winter items back in too.

This weekend brought me a new Petsitting critter-a leopard gecko who needed fed crickets 😆. Her fur brother and sister & some fish too. Luckily the fur kids let me sleep in Sunday and took a nap with me yesterday too! I hope you all had a great weekend!
I also got a Christmas vacation booking for pet services! It’s better to plan ahead for holiday trips! Schedules fill up quickly.
