Come on out tonight

National Night Out is tomorrow!

Drop by the W.G. Houston Middle School grounds tomorrow evening, Tuesday, August 4, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM for a completely free family night out focused on safety and community connection. We are incredibly excited to join forces with the Evans Police Department and Town of Evans Community Events to host an evening packed with lawn games, a community dunk tank, an airbrush tattoo artist, and live music by Gregg Sansone.

Our local first responders will be hanging out all evening with interactive vehicle displays for a hands-on touch-a-truck experience. Plus, safety professionals will be available on-site running an educational child safety car seat checkpoint to provide helpful tips and demonstrations.

Grab your lawn chairs and blankets, touch base with your neighbors, and come enjoy a fantastic summer evening together on the middle school campus. 🦅💚

🇺🇸 Mrs. Whipple, Mrs. Addison, Mrs. Gawlik, and Miss Selice put together an amazing Flag Day celebration that brought tears 🥹 of pride to many and paid respect 🫡 to its school’s veterans 🇺🇸

🦅💚 Congratulations to all our eagles who are about to fly from our nest 🎓 SO many LSCTA members have helped you all while in our care and we all couldn’t be more proud 🥹 The senior walk through is always filled with special moments of students reconnecting with former staff who helped them way back when and that’s what it’s all about 💚 🦅

Great work, LSCTA! 🦅💚 They completed the second of two yearly Route 5 Adopt a Highway cleanups starting on May 14th. 🧹 A team of 4 LSCTA members & 1 cherished Lake Shore family cleaned up a 2-mile portion of Route 5 starting at Backus Road and ending at Pat's Pizza.

Nancy Allesi (HS Math) and Kerry Feldmann (HS Math), for cleaning the section from Beach Road (Tim Hortons) to the MS Entrance.
Chuck Ruffino (AJ Art) for cleaning the section from Beach Road (Tim Hortons) to Bennett Road ALL BY HIMSELF!
Lastly, for cleaning three sections, Erich Dickey (HS World Languages) and his fiancé, Nick, for cleaning the sections starting from Old New Era to Chick's Bowling Alley, Chick's Bowling Alley to Bennett Road, & the MS Entrance to Pat's Pizza.

🦅💚 SO many LSCTA members throughout the entire district, and all its buildings, have influenced and helped to develop the educational background of all of these amazing students. Keep moving forward and growing into our future.
