Lake Shore Central School District The Lake Shore Central School District serves six schools across southern Erie County.

With a tradition of Eagle pride and a commitment to innovation, the district prepares students to be supported, connected, and ready for tomorrow.

The Lake Shore Central School District, also known as Evans-Brant Central School District, is located in southern Erie County. It is 65 square miles and includes the Towns of Brant, Evans, and Eden, as well as the Villages of Angola and Farnh

am, and a portion of the Cattaraugus Indian Territory. There are five school buildings with an enrollment of approximately 2,600 students, Kindergarten through 12th grade in the 2014-2015 school year.

A Standing Ovation for Gary Tribula 🦅

Before kickoff at Friday night's home opener, the Lake Shore community stopped everything to celebrate a legend. Athletic Director Daryl Besant presented Gary Tribula with a plaque honoring 58 years of service to the district, joined on the field by his family and friends.

Gary started at Lake Shore in 1968 as a middle school math teacher, spent 33 years shaping students in the classroom, and coached football, wrestling, baseball, and swimming along the way.

Decades after retiring from teaching, he never really left, running the game clock and holding down the scorers' table at Lake Shore athletic events ever since.

His plaque now has a permanent home inside the new press box, right where he'll keep working the clock for years to come.

The New Grandstand is Ready! 🦅

Tonight is the first official night fans get to sit in Lake Shore's brand new grandstand, part of Phase 2 of our athletics facility upgrades. We could not be more excited for the community to come out and use it for the very first time.

Keep watching too, crews are already building the new multipurpose fields as the next step in our complete renovation of the athletics facilities. It is a very exciting time to be an Eagles fan.

Welcome Back, Eagles 🦅

Nothing was going to dampen the excitement this morning as students across all six Lake Shore buildings arrived for the first day of school, rain and all. The hallways were buzzing, and every building was full of hellos, hugs, and a little bit of first-day nerves.

For some of our students, it was the start at a brand new school. For our youngest Eagles just beginning UPK, it was their very first day of school ever. Teachers and staff were ready at the doors with big smiles to make sure every student felt welcome from the moment they walked in.

Here's to a great year ahead, Lake Shore!

Here's a look at what's kicking off first:

🚗 5-Hour Pre-Licensing Course with Michael Frew, Sept. 16 at the high school

The Seneca Nation of Indians is hiring a Seneca Language Teacher for Lake Shore's middle school program, and it's a fantastic opportunity to shape the next generation through language and culture. You would teach structured, standards-based lessons that keep the Seneca language alive and thriving in our community.
