Prevention begins with awareness.

Healthy relationships are built on trust, respect, communication, and safety. Understanding the warning signs of unhealthy or abusive relationships can help protect ourselves and those around us.

💜 Know the signs. 💜 Support survivors. 💜 Speak up when something doesn't seem right. 💜 Reach out for help when needed.

No one should face domestic violence alone.

Su***de Prevention Month may be over, but the conversation continues. Our ADAPT Prevention Programs team had the opportunity to bring su***de prevention awareness to our D.A.E.P. students and remind them that they are seen, heard, and valued. We’re grateful for the opportunity to connect with our students and share a message of hope, support, and prevention. The conversation matters every month💙

💜 I Matter Because… 💜
For our Su***de Awareness activity, students were given sticky notes to write something that reminds them why they matter. They then placed their responses on the “I Matter Because…” boards, creating a meaningful display filled with reminders of their value, purpose, and the things that make their lives special. Every life has value. Every story matters. Every student matters.

💜 A little behind the scenes of preparing for our su***de awareness activity! I wanted to create something meaningful that would encourage students to reflect on what makes their lives special and remind them of an important message: “I Matter Because…”
Every life has value, every story matters, and every student deserves to know that they matter!💜
