The Angleton School History Center has been created to showcase artifacts and memorabilia tracing the history of Angleton ISD from 1897 to present.

The Angleton School History Center is open every Wednesday 1-5 p.m. and for special events. It is located in the library on the Downing Road site.

HISTORY CENTER DONATION
Katherine Winans, who earlier brought in a twirler uniform she bought at an estate sale, returned with a mannequin to display it. History Center volunteer Bette Sweeny '59 helped set it up with the band memorabilia. .

Karen Oberhaus '87 brought in the first grade report card of her grandfather, Harry Owens '43.

HISTORY CENTER DONATION
Rick Rangel brought in yearbooks from his wife Sammy Green '72. Sammy's father Thurman Green strongly supported the History Center and cut the ribbon for its grand opening in 2012. The History Center now has a collection of every AHS yearbook from 1913 to 2025.
