❤️💙 Celebrating Our Amazing MCES Staff! ❤️💙

We had a wonderful time celebrating our amazing staff and recognizing their dedication and years of service to Johnston County Public Schools! 🇺🇸

Staff members were honored for 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 years of service and received a commemorative pin in recognition of their commitment and hard work.

The celebration continued with a delicious lunch provided by our incredible McGee's Crossroads Elementary School PTA and cake and ice cream generously donated by Smith's Nursery and Produce Farm! 🍰🍦

We are so thankful for each member of our MCES family and the heart, dedication, and passion they bring to our school each day. Thank you for the countless ways you make a difference in the lives of our students and for your continued commitment to MCES and Johnston County Public Schools!

Good evening, Patriot Families! This is your principal, Ashley Foisy, calling with a few important updates and reminders.

We have officially wrapped up our first quarter, and what a wonderful start to the school year it has been!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our First Quarter Family Night, purchased books from our Book Fair, and donated candy for our Candy Monsters. We appreciate your support! We will share updated results next week and announce our winning classroom.

Monday, October 19, is a Teacher Workday, so there will be no school for students. However, we hope you will join us that evening for our annual Trunk or Treat from 5:30 to 7:30pm! This is a family event for all ages, and we ask that all costumes remain school-appropriate.

Our next Duty-Free Lunch for teachers will be Monday, October 26. If you are interested in volunteering, please sign up using the SignUp Genius link shared on ClassDojo.

Thank you again for your continued support of McGee’s Crossroads Elementary. We look forward to seeing everyone Monday evening for a fun night of Trunk or Treating. Have a great weekend!
