FROM THE DESK OF HARNETT COUNTY PARTNERSHIP FOR CHILDREN EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, TARA FISH:
As Hurricane Helene has left many families in the western part of our state facing significant hardships, local partnerships are in urgent need of supplies to support children and families impacted by the storm.
On Wednesday, October 2, 2024, the HCPC playmobile, affectionately known as "Winnie the Winnebago," will be heading to Wilkes County to deliver much-needed items to these families. Our partners in Burke, Watauga, and Ashe County will arrange pick up for the items we collect. We are working hard to fill the bus with essentials such as diapers, formula, hygiene products, and educational materials, but we need your help to ensure we provide as much support as possible.
Your donation, will directly benefit families struggling to recover in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene and will help them connect with their local partnership to receive resources and help.
