Several schools in our Region have received the K16 Grant through the Sierra K16 Collaborative. Including 2 grants for Calaveras Unified School District! Bret Harte received a grant from the Calaveras Community Foundation to improve CTE opportunities in area of Multimedia Production.

“Thank you Calaveras Community Foundation for your grant supporting our Multimedia Technology. Our Multimedia Technology program has received a $10,000 grant from the Calaveras Community Foundation to purchase four 24” iMacs with up-to-date hardware and software for use by our students. These new computers will support the classes in Technical Theater and Audio, Video and Multimedia Production. Our students help with school and community productions and many go on to careers in the arts and entertainment fields.
