My son just started Headstart pre-K Pre School this year actually in the middle of 2019.

We have now been in quarantine for about 2 1/2 weeks because we went out of school a week before quarantine started due to my son having a runny nose.

I have been keeping in contact with his teacher to ask for ideas and also maybe see if there was other parents struggling as I am. So we came up with an idea to have parents get together through video so our kids could interact with each other. Kids listen to their teachers because it is new fun and entertaining and they are surrounded by peers like themselves and are eager to learn with each other. So I thought this would be a good idea, this way they could learn to interact and still be able to communicate with their friends and we as parents can learn together to help engage with our children and students alike and keep them busy and motivated until school is back in session.

Good afternoon this will start Tuesday 03/24/2020 morning at 10am for our first class get together!!!

Our kids are lost and don’t know what to do and Teacher Diane has asked me to help you. I am here for any advice or things that you can’t think of on your own we can do it together as parents. I’d like to do activities in videos and comments and questions and for us to just be positive and help each other out with everything that’s going on.
Our kids will be back together and our kids will definitely be excited to re-join their classmates and interact with each other and this will all be just one memory in the past that we will learn from.
