Today was one of those days that reminds us why the Andrews Education Foundation exists.

Starting a career in education is exciting, but it can also be overwhelming. New teachers spend countless hours preparing classrooms, purchasing supplies, and investing their own time and money to create the best possible learning environment for their students.

Today, we had the privilege of welcoming our new-to-the-profession teachers and surprising each of them with a $500 gift card to help them start the school year.

This isn’t just about a gift card, it’s about letting these educators know that Andrews believes in them, values them, and is grateful they chose to invest in our students and our community.

To every new teacher joining Andrews ISD: Welcome. We are so glad you’re here, and we’re cheering you on from day one.

A huge thank you to everyone who supports the Andrews Education Foundation. Because of your generosity, we’re able to invest in the people who invest in our children every single day.

Here’s to a great school year!
