Our 3rd grade Hawks put their creativity and coding skills to the test with an exciting STEM challenge! 🌟

Students used materials from their STEM bins to design and build their very own mazes. But the challenge didn't stop there! They then had to program DASH the robot to successfully navigate through their creations! πŸ€–

Through teamwork, trial and error, and LOTS of problem-solving, our young engineers discovered that sometimes the best learning happens when things don't go exactly as planned! πŸ’‘πŸ‘

We love seeing our Hawks THINK BIG, GET CREATIVE, and CODE THEIR WAY TO SUCCESS! πŸ’™πŸ’›

The Andrew Parent Lighthouse Team is preparing for a special fundraising event this December and we’re looking for donations of wrapping paper to help make it a success!

If you have extra rolls of wrapping paper you’d like to donate, we would be so grateful for your support. If you would like to donate, you can drop off the wrapping paper at the school office.

We wanted to make sure that you all knew that there is NO SCHOOL on Friday, October 16th (Conference Comp Day for Teachers). There is also NO SCHOOL on Monday, October 19th (this No School Day is missing on the Magnet - sorry). This is a professional learning day for teachers.

Our Andrew Hawks had a FIRE-TASTIC time celebrating Fire Prevention Week today! πŸ§‘β€πŸš’β€οΈ

We want to send a HUGE thank you to the Andrew Fire Department for welcoming our students and taking the time to teach them about fire safety! 🚨

We are so grateful for the opportunity our students had to learn about the important work firefighters do, the equipment they use, and ways we can all help keep ourselves and our families safe! 🏠πŸ”₯
