Over the next few weeks, school districts across Ashtabula County are coming together to share clear, factual information regarding how public school funding works in the State of Ohio.

You don't have to look far in the news or online to see headlines about school districts across our state facing difficult decisions and significant budget adjustments due to current school funding challenges.

We believe our community deserves complete transparency. Throughout this multi-week series, we will break down the facts about Ohio’s funding system and share the specific details of our financial story here at Pymatuning Valley Local Schools, including how we manage your local tax dollars, navigate state funding models, and keep our district on stable ground.

Our goal is simple: to keep our families and community informed with accurate data so we can continue working together to support our students and our rural school district.

Today’s Coffee with Chris was a great success. We had three district residents attend.

Our discussions were driven by the participants and at the center of all conversations was how to continue providing great learning opportunities for our students.

Thank you to Addyson and Katelyn for helping make sure our guests were treated with exceptional hospitality!
