🎉 School Is Almost Here!

Teacher assignments are out! Yay! 🎉 We know everyone is getting excited for the new school year!

You can **voluntarily share your student’s teacher** through the form here. Once the final class lists are uploaded into Membership Toolkit, you’ll also be able to update your family information in the PTO directory.

📣 Interested in getting more involved with the PTO?
We’ll be sharing more information this week about two open Board positions: Communications Chair and Enrichment Chair. Both Chair positions are members of the PTO Board and attend our monthly meetings, which alternate between:

* Friday mornings at 9:15 AM (in person or Zoom)
* Thursday evenings at 7:00 PM (virtual)

Not looking for a board role, no problem, we ask that you try to attend one of our 5 open meetings (bi-monthly cadence) to support your child's school.

Fall Softball registration in Andover is officially open!

Registration closes August 16.

While this isn’t a PTO‑sponsored program, we know lots of students and families have been eager for sign‑ups, so we’re passing along the info.

Many families have asked if we could bring Chorus back to our PTO before‑school offerings. Unfortunately, we have not been able to secure an instructor for the Fall session.

However, I’m very excited to share a wonderful new opportunity in town — the All‑Town Choir. This program is run by APS (not the PTO) and offers an amazing experience for 4th and 5th graders who love to sing.

A great option for students looking to stay involved in music and performance.

Have you ever wanted to sing alongside students from every school in town? The All-Town Chorus is an exciting new opportunity that brings together fourth and fifth graders from across the district to create one unified, powerful choir. This collaborative program gives students a chance to learn and perform music as part of a speciality ensemble.

Rehearsals will be held every Monday from 4:15 - 5:30 at West Middle School. This program runs from October to early April. Cost is $131. Scholarships are available for families who may need financial assistance, so cost should never be a barrier to participation.
