More exciting news !!! Your PTO is opening a swag shop ❤️We will be adding more items but figured we would start with inventory we currently have !!!

Take a look and let us know your thoughts (feel free to comment below with any and all suggestions and include items you’d like to see included in our shop) ! You are able to place an order as soon as today!

This is a trial run to see how we do before we add additional items.

You can find our South School shop below or you can follow the link in our shop to make a donation (fee free vs Venmo which charges a fee). Every little bit helps support our kids and all our fun plans this year!

We are also including a handout in the comments section which we sent home last year and includes approximate breakdowns on where your PTO spends money and why it is so important we have innovative ways to raise funds (aka our Zeffy shop)!

And in today's exciting news for our Tigers, classroom assignments are here!! As tradition goes, your PTO has created a signup genius for you to use when your child asks you for the billionth time who is going to be in their class. Just have them take a look at our signup AND practice their reading skills at the same time! This only works if we all take a minute to add our children to the appropriate classroom.

Back to school supply lists are out! We wanted to share with those of you who may have missed them.

If you ordered a back-to-school kit via South Elementary, those kits will be placed on your child's desk on the first day of school. Please note that these school kits DO NOT contain a reusable water bottle or a pair of wired headphoes which are also needed for every child at South and need to be provided by your family.

Thank you Andover Bakeshop LLC for ALWAYS going above and beyond for South Elementary School. We can’t wait to give our fifth graders their Celebration of Learning cookie ❤️. We love traditions and we love that Andover Bakeshop helps us continue this tradition every year.

Happy almost Celebration of Learning to all of your graduating 5th graders. South will miss each and every one of our Tigers moving on to middle school. Please come back and visit us at any of our events next year!

Gearing up for a night of fun and community at Spring Fling tonight starting at 5 pm ! We will remain at South and have a back up plan so def purchase your tickets ! We’ve added so much this year and would love to see all of our Tigers tonight for our biggest event of the year ! See posts below to purchase your tickets asap !!!!

Spring fling will go on at South today ! Mrs Lee and I will speak this am and even if we have to move things indoors, the show will go on ! So purchase your tickets, hope and pray it stays dry, and we will see you tonight starting at 5 pm!

One last post for this am! We are still in need of volunteers for Spring Fling! If you are interested in volunteering and helping, please sign up via the link below!

We def need more help at our popcorn station (shift with no volunteers currently) and a few parent volunteers to stay near our inflatable game rentals. We will have a Skee ball inflatable, a soccer inflatable, and an inflatable gaga ball pit. While we have hired attendants to man the bounce houses, they did not have additional employees to stay with the inflatable games, and we'd love a parent or two volunteers to stand by and make sure everyone, and everything is safe! Plus, feel free to play along with kids! Who doesn't love Skee ball or soccer or gaga ball pits?

We also have NO volunteers for the second shift for our silent auction! This slot will be inside the cafeteria and usually it's a 5th grade parent volunteer position, but we will take ANY parent that would like to help with this!

PLEASE do NOT volunteer to face paint! We have filled our volunteer face painter slots via a separate signup genius with some of our wonderful older students from the high school!

PLEASE volunteer if you are attending especially if you have older children that don't need your help tomm night. We cannot run these events without the help of our South School parents.

Spring Fling is a LESS THAN A WEEK AWAY (this Friday May 29th) Please purchase your tickets sooner vs. later so your PTO has a better idea of number of folks planning to attend. Please and thank you!
