Please join us in supporting our August Staff Member of The Month!

Briana was described by one of her coworkers as "the hardest worker for her families and her team." Briana is always flexible with her time to support her teammates with evaluations, IFSP updates, and consults. Additionally, she provides support for our new staff by taking them out to shadow visits, training them in EICS, and discussing cases. Briana also consistently utilizes the multidisciplinary team to ensure her families are having all of their needs met during their time in EI. Briana's dedication to her families and her EI team is incredible!

Thank you, Briana, we're so grateful to have you on our team!

August is National Breastfeeding Month, an opportunity to recognize that every family’s feeding journey is different, and support can make all the difference. 💙

Our Early Intervention Services team helps families with concerns related to breastfeeding, bottle feeding, latching, weight gain, and nutrition. Through visits at home or childcare, our nurses, lactation consultants, and therapists provide practical, family-centered support tailored to each child.

Back-to-school preparations are underway at Woodbridge School! 🍎

Our educators are thoughtfully preparing Reggio-inspired classrooms designed to spark curiosity, creativity, independence, and collaboration. In this approach, the learning environment acts as a “third teacher.”

Six important features shape our classrooms:

🌿 Natural materials and aesthetic beauty
🧒 Child-centered layouts
🖼️ Documentation of learning
🎨 Flexible, open-ended materials
🌱 Connection to nature
🤝 Community and collaboration

Every detail helps create a welcoming environment where children can explore their interests, express themselves, and learn through hands-on experiences.

Preparing for Preschool: Toddler Playgroups - It All Starts Here

Shelby Johnson of signed her two-year-old up for a playgroup at Partners in Child Development after having a great experience with her older son. “We decided to enroll our daughter Morgan to help get her ready for preschool,” she shared. “We felt it was important for her overall development to practice in a safe and welcoming setting.”

Playgroup has also helped Morgan practice separating from her parents and participating in structured activities. “We have noticed Morgan’s self-confidence has really blossomed since starting playgroup,” Shelby said. “She is more open to trying new things on her own” and has worked hard at “being a kind friend to everyone.”

Partnership is more than part of our name. It’s how our mission comes to life. 💙

We are incredibly grateful to the members of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 103 who participated in the 2026 New England Solidarity Ride during Laconia Motorcycle Week and raised more than $6,500 to support Partners in Child Development!

This partnership began with a personal connection: one of the riders has a child who received our Early Intervention Services and introduced our programs to his colleagues as a cause worthy of their support. We are deeply honored that they chose to ride for PCD.

Support like this is vital to our work. By partnering with families, companies, individuals, foundations, and community organizations, we are able to serve more children and families and continue nurturing the growth and development of every child to maximize their potential.

To everyone who rode, donated, and helped make this possible: thank you for being our partners in child development.
