My first class in the Fall session was a private class in Boston. This young couple cooked and learned enthusiastically. It's a pleasure to see young people take interest in home cooking versus the easy way out of take outs. My daughter got married to earlier this month. It was a joyous occasion which was celebrated over three days. We had family and friends who came from around the country and abroad to share our happiness and bless the newly weds. Summer Memories: It makes me very happy to see young adults in my class. They had registered independent of each other- one of them a couple- just a happy coincidence. In this age of home deliveries and eating out, these young folks are choosing to cook at home and learn a variety of cuisines to keep their meals interesting and healthy. I was happy to switch the menu to cater to their needs. It was impressive to watch them take on new techniques and dishes with ease and enthusiasm. One needs to learn to cook to their own taste. Always ask or give me a heads up if you need a tweak in the menu that is being advertised. It's a pleasure and my goal to work with people of all ages and abilities.

Summer Memories: This class was super memorable because from the get go it felt as if I had been part of this amazing group of friends from as long as they knew each other. I must have not laughed so much during a class. The energy was contagious and so much fun that I am still smiling and laughing thinking about the good times had. It was special also because the group was celebrating and surprising one of them for her milestone birthday. We joked, laughed, cooked and sat around to chat some more. It was an incredible afternoon/evening for all in the room where it happened!!😄🤣

Sharing some very special summer memories: This class was a highlight for more reasons than one. I know I am doing something right when my guest returns (for online and in-person classes) for more classes (5 and counting) and brings more friends and family along for my Indian cooking experience! More inspiring is the fact that my guest has special needs; but that does not deter her from learning and cooking Indian meals at her home because of the ayurvedic benefits that naturally come with eating Indian meals. It was a proud moment to know that one of them (her friend) was inspired to come for my class because of the Indian meal she had at her house. This class was also special because one of my dear friend from India came to visit me and even though he knows it all, chose to sit in to watch and learn. I was overwhelmed.

Summer has been rather slow for my cooking classes; it's been unusually hot this year too. ...so I have not been sharing much here. The few that I did teach were special and memorable. (The posts for those are past due.🫣) It's been a busy summer for me nevertheless -preparing for my daughter's wedding that is coming up in a few weeks. It's exciting times in our family as we prepare to celebrate her and officially welcome my son-in-law. I will not be offering classes in September for this reason. All classes in-person and online will resume in October. The schedule is on my website. Please help spread the word and register for Indian cooking classes that you have loved so much. I look forward to cooking with my old guests and new in the Fall.

It was a Joy to cook with this fun group of people. They came in as strangers and left as friends! I love when the experience of my cooking class gets people to connect with each other too. The energy and enthusiasm was great. I am grateful to everyone for being flexible to reschedule because of my issues and conflicts. 🙏😋💞😍🥳
