Today marks the final day of elementary school for our 5th graders. It also marks the final day for 27 students who spent the last six years with us each and every day. We wish all 5th graders the best transition to ACMS.
Remember to be kind, respectful, and always try your best.

Check out a new hotline designed to bring a smile to your face! Dial-A-Smile is a joint effort of business entrepreneurship students at Andover CAPS - Center for Advanced Professional Studies and second-graders at Sunflower Elementary, with the support of Sander Orthodontic Arts.

CAPS students served as project managers and recorded the Sunflower students giving life advice, words of encouragement, pick-me-ups for those feeling mad or sad, or jokes. Call 1-844-DYL-SMYL any time to bring a little sunshine to your day!

We want to thank our amazing PTO for spoiling us well this week! The food, drinks, decorations and super fun games made our week one we won't soon forget!!

What a matinee performance!! Come check out Aladdin tonight at 7 PM at Andover Central High School. Doors open at 6:30 PM. You won’t want to miss this awesome performance from our 5th graders.

We are so pleased to announce our celebration of Sunflower Elementary's 25th Year Anniversary! We hope you can join us!

Good Morning 3rd and 4th Grade Families,

Due to the potential for severe weather this evening, it is our intent to start our concerts earlier than previously announced. Our 3rd grade concert will now begin at 5:30 PM at Andover Central High School. Our 4th grade concert will now begin at 6:15 PM at Andover Central High School. By moving up the start times, it will allow all kids the opportunity to perform, while allowing families the opportunity to get home safely. Please see below for specific grade level directions.

3rd Grade
· Students need to arrive @ 5:15 PM and head back to the hallway by the choir room.

· Concert begins @ 5:30 PM.

· Concert will last approximately 30 minutes.

· Students will be picked up from their teacher in the ACHS commons. This will be on the concession stand side of the commons.

4th Grade
· Students need to arrive @ 6:00 PM and locate their teacher in the hallway outside of the auditorium.

· Parents, if you can stay to the cafeteria side of the ACHS commons, it will help our 3rd grade parents find their students easier on the concession stand side of the commons when the 3rd grade program ends about 6:00 PM.

· Concert begins @ 6:15 PM.

· Concert will last approximately 35-40 minutes.

· Students will be picked up from their teacher in the ACHS commons.

Thank you all for your flexibility. Again, our main priority is allowing our kids to perform, while doing our best to keep all families safe from potential weather.
