Congratulations to the 20 recent Andover graduates who received their Kansas Seal of Biliteracy during the school year from the Kansas State Department of Education. The seal recognizes students who have attained proficiency in English and one or more additional world languages by graduation. Eligibility is determined through the scores from two approved assessments.
This is the most Seals of Biliteracy awarded to the district since Andover began participating in the program seven years ago!

These aren't just any books — they're personal essays about something they learned or experienced in middle school, complete with illustrations.
