This afternoon all of our kiddos got to partake in some AWESOME music, dancing, and popsicles with the Teddy Bear Band! 🧸🍦🎶 As we are wrapping up summer, we are celebrating all of our Pre-K graduates that will be moving onto kindergarten in 2 weeks!! ❤️ 🎓

Sprout made his way around Lil’ Explorers this week for his very first classroom adventure! Our little learners gathered together with Sprout to read Calmness by Helen M. and Cristian T. 💚

This story gave our children an age appropriate way to explore what it means to feel calm and begin building the words they need to understand and express their emotions. Through reading, conversation, and time together, our teachers helped children recognize that calmness can look and feel different for everyone.

Social emotional learning is an important part of early childhood development. Even our youngest learners benefit from hearing words connected to feelings, while our older children can begin identifying those feelings in themselves and practicing ways to work through them. 🌱

And, of course, Sprout was there to learn right alongside them! 🦥📖

We can’t wait to see what Sprout explores with our little learners next.

Ready, set, ride! 🚲💨 Yesterday’s Bike Day was filled with smiles, sunshine, and lots of little wheels in motion. Our friends had a blast riding with their classmates and showing off their biking skills! Thank you to our families for helping make the day so much fun! 🛴❤️

This week all our classes learned about some type of insect or reptile! Our PreK kiddos learned all about 🪱 WORMS. Preschool learned about 🐍 SNAKES, and our infants learned all about BUTTERFLIES 🦋!
