What an incredible day celebrating Andes Community Day!

We are so proud to share that the Andes Central School District float was awarded "Most Community Spirit!" 🎉💙❤️

Students, families, staff, alumni, and community members came together to sing and play instruments, spreading smiles, and school pride.

Our Pathfinders club also held a fundraiser featuring ACSD spirit shirts which featured artwork from the Kindergarten - 3rd Grade classrooms, lemonade, and hand-drawn portraits at our Photo Booth. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we raised over $1,000 to support our students and school programs!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who volunteered, donated, and participated. Your enthusiasm and support made this day a tremendous success. Congratulations to everyone who helped make the float a true reflection of the pride and spirit that defines the Andes Community.

We still have some volunteer spots available for the parking fundraiser for the Oh Boy Market on July 3 and 4.

There are still 11 spots open Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4. Volunteers are asked to sign up for three-hour shifts, and our goal is to have at least two people covering each shift.

Our Andes Elementary students had an amazing time at Field Day, enjoying a day full of laughter, teamwork, friendly competition, and school spirit! Students gave it their all while encouraging and cheering on their classmates during the exciting games and activities.

Field Day is more than just a day of fun—it's an opportunity for students to build friendships, practice good sportsmanship, stay active, and celebrate another successful school year together.

A special thank you to Ms. Nocella, faculty and staff, and everyone who helped supervise and organize the events. Your hard work made the day a memorable one for all of our students!

Our elementary students recently enjoyed an unforgettable field trip to the Storm King Art Center in New Windsor, NY! Surrounded by mountains, open fields, and incredible sculptures, students had the opportunity to explore the unique connection between nature, creativity, and imagination.

Founded in 1960, Storm King Art Center is one of the world's leading outdoor sculpture parks. Spanning more than 500 acres in New York's Hudson Valley, the museum features large-scale sculptures and site-specific artwork set throughout meadows, forests, and various outdoor landscapes. Visitors experience art in a way that is very different from a traditional museum, with each piece interacting with the natural environment around it.

Throughout the day, students observed impressive sculptures, discussed the artwork, and enjoyed the beauty of the Hudson Valley. The trip provided a wonderful hands-on learning experience that encouraged curiosity, creativity, and appreciation for both art and nature.

Thank you to Mrs. R for organizing this opportunity and our teachers, staff, and chaperones for helping make this educational adventure possible. We are proud to provide opportunities that allow our students to learn beyond the classroom and create lasting memories! 🍎🎨🌳🚌

Color Wars! Andes Central School's version of Field Day brought students together for an afternoon filled with friendly competition, teamwork, school spirit, and fun.

Students proudly represented their team colors as they competed in a variety of exciting games and challenges. From relay races to team-building activities, the day was packed with laughter, encouragement, and unforgettable memories.

A special thank you to our staff and organizers who helped make this amazing day possible. Your hard work and dedication created a memorable experience for our students.

This morning, we were excited to welcome fathers, grandfathers, and other special guests to our annual Donuts for Dad Day! It was a wonderful opportunity for students to spend quality time with the important role models in their lives while enjoying a sweet treat together.

Events like these help strengthen the connection between home and school and remind our students how fortunate they are to have such caring and supportive families. The smiles, conversations, and memories shared this morning made for a truly special start to the day.

Thank you to all of the dads and special guests who joined us, Ms. Bacon and the Crop Team, and to everyone who helped make this event a success. We appreciate your continued support of our students and school community!

Today we proudly celebrated our Pre-K Moving Up Ceremony at Andes Central School! Our students have grown so much this year and are ready to take the next step in their educational journey.

We are grateful to our teachers, staff, and families for their support and encouragement throughout the year. Congratulations to our Pre-K students on all of your hard work and accomplishments—we can't wait to see all the wonderful things you will achieve in kindergarten and 4K!

What a great day at Andes Central School as students proudly participated in Drive Your Tractor to School Day! The event was a wonderful celebration of our agricultural roots and the hardworking farming families who play such an important role in our community. Students enjoyed the opportunity to showcase their tractors! Andes is home to rich farming traditions and it is we would like to recognize the dedication, hard work, and commitment of our local farmers. We are proud to support agriculture and the families who contribute so much to our community and local economy.

Most importantly, it was a fun and memorable experience for our students! Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this special day a success.
