It may feel like the school year just began, but planning for the 2027–2028 school year is already underway!

Anderson School District Five is asking families and community members to take a look at the proposed 2027–2028 school calendar and share their feedback.

The proposed calendar includes a full week for Thanksgiving break, regular breaks throughout the year, and an end date before Memorial Day.

Please take a few minutes to review the proposed calendar and complete the feedback survey by August 26. Your input is important as the district plans for the year ahead!

Hey, Whitehall families!

Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts stopped by Whitehall today to talk with our students about all the fun opportunities they have to offer! Students were also sent home with a flyer with more information.

They’ll be back at Whitehall tomorrow, Thursday, August 20 at 6:00 PM for families who would like to learn more! Come out, ask questions, and see what Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts are all about!

Today was one for the books! ❤️📚

Our halls were filled with smiles, excitement, a few nervous butterflies, and so many sweet reunions. We are beyond excited to welcome our amazing students back for another year of learning, growing, and making memories together.

Behind every great school is a team of people willing to do whatever it takes.

As teachers prepare classrooms filled with love and learning, our administrators are outside making sure our campus is just as ready for the first day. Whether they’re supporting students, helping teachers, or cleaning up flower beds, they never hesitate to jump in wherever they’re needed.

We are so grateful for leaders who serve with humble hearts. It truly takes a village, and we’re thankful to be part of one as special as Whitehall. ❤️

📅 2026-2027 Academic Calendar Update - The Anderson Five Board of Trustees has approved a revised 2026-2027 Academic Calendar, reflecting changes to the early dismissal schedule. This update was made to best accommodate students and staff by aligning the district's graduation schedule with venue availability.

📌 Updated Early Dismissal Dates:
• December 18, 2026
• May 21, 2027 (Graduation Day)
• May 25, 2027

T.L. Hanna High and Westside High will host their graduation ceremonies at Littlejohn Coliseum in Clemson on May 21, 2027, at 10:00am and 2:00pm respectively. Also, A5 Charter School will host their graduation on May 25, 2027, at 2:00pm at Robert Anderson Middle School.
