Please read the following that was shared through Parent Square. Remember all primary family communication goes through Parent Square, but we wanted to share the following this time around on Facebook.

Dear Tenth Street Families,

This is a friendly reminder that tomorrow, Friday, September 11, is an eLearning Day for Tenth Street Elementary.

Our teachers will begin their live, synchronous sessions with students at 12:15 PM. Students should be logged in and ready to participate at that time.

A few important reminders for tomorrow:
- Live sessions begin at 12:15 PM. Students should log in and be ready to learn at that time.
- Chromebooks are coming home with students tonight so they can participate in tomorrow's live sessions.
-Please help your child save their Chromebook battery tonight and tomorrow morning so they have enough battery life for the afternoon live session.
- We have sent multiple messages with information and directions regarding the setup and expectations for tomorrow's eLearning Day. Please review those communications if you have not already done so.

World's Finest Chocolate Fundraiser
We also sent World's Finest Chocolate bars home with students today as part of our school fundraiser. We have already distributed approximately 50% of our candy bars, and we appreciate everyone's support!

We will continue collecting permission slips next week for families who are interested in participating.

Please remember that the candy bars are being sold on behalf of the school, and all money collected from sales needs to be returned to Tenth Street Elementary.

Thank you to all of our families for your continued support of our students and our school. We truly appreciate your partnership!

Go Eagles!

Mr. Suchocki
Principal

Please read the following that was shared with our families through Parent Square. If you are a parent or guardian of a Tenth Street students, all lines of important information such as this will eventually be shared only through Parent Square, so please get yourself signed up.

Dear Tenth Street Families,

Anderson Community Schools has announced a Level 3 school closure for tomorrow, Monday, August 17. This means there will be no school and no staff at our buildings tomorrow.

Whenever a decision is made to close school across the corporation, the safety and well-being of our students, families, and staff are the highest priority. Given the circumstances surrounding the recent flooding in our community, this decision is especially important.

We know that we will have Tenth Street families that been directly impacted by the flooding. We also have staff members who have been affected and are dealing with the challenges that come with these circumstances. Our hearts go out to everyone in our school community who has been impacted.

Please stay up to date with information being shared by Anderson Community Schools and our school social worker, Mrs. Thompson, regarding available resources and assistance for families experiencing flood-related needs. We will continue to share information and help connect our families with resources as they become available.

We know there are many unknowns ahead, and we may not have all of the answers right now. However, we will continue to navigate these circumstances together and do everything we can to help piece things together for the safety, well-being, and educational needs of our students.

Please take the time you need tomorrow to focus on your family, your home, and your well-being. We understand that these are difficult and uncertain circumstances, and we want our Tenth Street community to know that we are here to support one another.

Thank you for your understanding, patience, and continued support of our Tenth Street family.

Please stay safe, take care of one another, and know that we are thinking of all of you.

Sincerely,
DJ Suchocki
Principal
