This week has definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone a little. ❤️

When we first planned this vacation, I went back and forth SO many times on whether I should even go. As a daycare provider, it’s hard stepping away from something that means so much to you. I debated closing for the week, changing plans completely, or just not taking the trip at all because I truly care about my daycare families and the children in my care.

In the end, I decided to still take the vacation while keeping Little Blessings open — and honestly, I couldn’t have done it without the help of two amazing employees. 🫶

Knowing the kids are still being loved, cared for, played with, and kept on their normal routine while I’m away has made this decision so much easier. I’m incredibly thankful to have people I trust helping care for your little ones while I spend some much-needed time with my family.

Running an in-home daycare is so much more than a job. It becomes part of your heart and daily life, which is why decisions like this are never simple. But I also think it’s important to remember that providers are human too, and taking time to recharge and spend time with family matters.

Thank you to all of my daycare families for your understanding, support, and trust always. It truly means more than you know. 🤍
