Today was pumpkin carving day! We carved a small Pumpkin Jack to watch in the classroom, and a big Jack O Lantern to out under our tree and watch. We put the seeds in groups of 10 and counted 620 seeds from our punpkin! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
Thoughts on touching all the pumpkin guts vary. ๐Ÿคฃ

STOP, drop, and roll!
Yesterday we had a visit from the fire station where we learned about fire safety and got to climb in the fire truck ๐Ÿš’

One big take away is that if your family has not discussed what to do and where to go in the event of a fire, please come up with a plan together.
This is also a great time to help your student learn their address!

We had the best day. There was a special visit from Johnny Appleseed himself! He read the kids a book about his life and then they did a fun craft. We learned how to peel and core apples and make apple sauce. The room smelled amazing all day.
This afternoon we got to taste many different apple products. I'm curious what your kiddos apple treat was today. ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ

Thank you everyone for helping make learning come alive in the classroom.
