Here are 2 great volunteer opportunities coming up we’d love to see you at.

June 12th. Mark it on your calendar. That is the priority deadline to apply for LAMC, YLA, and Balance, and seats are filling up! If you have been thinking about applying or know someone who should, the application is at thelamc.org/apply.

🔵 LAMC | Adults in the workforce | $1,000 *
🟢 YLA | High school juniors | $750 *
🟣 Balance | High school seniors | $350
*Tuition assistance provided

After June 12th, applications may still be accepted, but those who apply by the deadline will receive priority consideration for a seat in one of the programs and requested tuition assistance. Do not wait and miss out.

🌟 YLA Alumni Special: Participated in YLA this past year? If 5 or more students list you as a reference on their 2026 YLA application, you will receive $25 off your Balance application. Share the program you love and save at the same time!

Applications are now open for LAMC, YLA, and Balance, three leadership programs designed to meet people right where they are in Madison County.

🔵 LAMC: Connecting professionals to relevant leadership skills and community connections needed to make an impact! $1,000

🟢 YLA: An immersive program for high school juniors ready to grow in leadership and make their mark! $750

🟣 Balance: For the high school senior looking to explore what life after high school is all about and be equipped with key skills. $350
