Morning Arrival Reminder

Please help us keep our morning arrival process running smoothly and safely. We are experiencing some traffic backup in the car drop-off line, with cars extending into the roadway. This morning, the backup even caused a bus to be blocked.

When you arrive, please pull all the way forward to the top of the car line, near the auditorium entrance—specifically, the last brick pillar under the awning. Please do not stop at the front door.

Pulling all the way forward allows several students to unload at the same time, keeps the line moving, and helps prevent vehicles from backing up into the road.

Dear Calhoun Academy of the Arts Families,
Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! We are excited to welcome both our returning families and those joining us for the first time. We hope you have had a wonderful summer filled with rest, fun, and special memories.
This year's theme is "Small Fish, Big Dreams." Just as every fish plays an important role in the ocean, every child at Calhoun Academy of the Arts is unique, valued, and full of unlimited potential. We believe that when students are encouraged to dream big, work hard, and believe in themselves, there is no limit to what they can accomplish. This year, we are committed to helping every student grow with confidence, embrace challenges, celebrate their creativity, and discover that even the smallest steps can lead to extraordinary achievements.
As an arts-integrated school, we strive to provide engaging learning experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and collaboration. Our dedicated staff is looking forward to partnering with you to ensure every child has a successful and memorable school year.
