Today was our first school worship as a school family. We introduced our theme for the years “Growing Like Jesus”. We learned our theme song “More Jesus” and Pastor Prado shared a worship thought with us on wisdom.

🌧️ A MOMENT TO TALK ABOUT FLOODING IN INDIANA

With flooding impacting areas across Indiana, we want to take a moment to remind everyone to please stay safe and stay aware.

🚗 DO NOT drive through flooded roadways. Even water that looks shallow can be dangerous and may hide washed-out roads or other hazards. Turn Around, Don’t Drown!

👨‍🚒 👮‍♀️We also want to recognize and thank the first responders across Indiana who are working around the clock to protect their communities and keep people safe. We appreciate the long hours, dedication, and sacrifices you are making during these challenging conditions.

🌧️ And here in Edgewood, we are continuing to monitor the weather and conditions closely. More rain is still expected, and our Town of Edgewood employees are working hard to monitor conditions and help keep our community safe. ( thank you Don and Carl for all you do)

Please stay weather aware, avoid flooded areas, and if you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find another route.

UPDATE for THURSDAY, August 13th.

We will remain on a Two Hour Delay today. However, we know that some areas in Anderson are worse than others. Therefore, if you are unable to bring your child to school due to the flooding, it will be counted as an excused absence IF you contact the school and let us know your child will be absent today due to flooding.

Cross Street Christian School will be on a two-hour delay tomorrow due to flooding in the area. As a reminder when we have a two-hour delay, attendance will be taken at 10am. We understand parents need to get to work students may arrive as early as 8am.
