We’ve got it backwards.

More “school” doesn’t automatically mean more learning.

The more we try to make early childhood look like the grades that come after it, the more we risk losing what young children actually need to become lifelong learners.

The Play Coaches don’t think the goal is to make children better at sitting, complying, and performing.

We want them curious. Confident. Creative. Capable.

Because learning how to learn matters.
