🎉Our Back to School In-Service was a wonderful opportunity to bring our staff together and kick off the 26/27 school year! 🖤

👏 We recognized staff members for their incredible years of service — including one employee celebrating 35 YEARS!

👋 We welcomed and introduced our new employees to the team.

🏆 And we celebrated our outstanding Employees of the Year, Earl Jackson (Technology Systems Technician) and Steven Whitmore (Ag Teacher).

A huge shoutout to our Food Service team for feeding everyone an absolutely amazing meal — you took great care of us! 🍽️🙌 And a special thank you to Feast Coffee for coming through for us at the last minute and keeping everyone caffeinated! ☕️

We’re grateful for the dedicated people who make our schools such special places to work, learn, and grow. Here’s to another great year! 📚✨

This summer’s Clerical Retreat was all about “building” relationships and what better way to put that theme into action than by handing us power tools?! 😂🔨

We stepped away from our usual work environment and tried something completely different together. We cut boards, routed edges, used staple guns and power tools, and somehow walked away with actual bird feeders — and all our fingers! 🙌😂🐦

There’s something special about stepping outside our normal routines, laughing together, learning something new, helping one another, and getting to know the people we work alongside in a whole different environment. ❤️ It was a great reminder that building strong relationships is just as important as the work we do every day.

A huge thank you to Mr. Jones, teacher of our Building and Construction Trades program, for his patience, encouragement, and for trusting us with the power tools! 😆

Turns out, we’re actually pretty handy! 💪🔨🐦

Did you know that many district records have to be retained permanently? For a district that's been around since 1909, that adds up to a lot of paper!

This summer, we've been tackling decades of records by scanning and digitizing them, helping to significantly declutter the halls of the District Office.

A huge thank you to Tami and Kolby for their patience, attention to detail, and the seemingly impossible task of removing approximately one million staples 😄. We've loved getting to know them this summer, and the District Office is much better organized because of their hard work!

Now excuse us while we say goodbye to one very, very large pile of paper...

We’re excited to be part of a countywide partnership with Shasta County Office of Education and ActVNet to enhance campus safety for all students. This initiative focuses on creating consistent campus mapping, signage and identification systems so that first responders and outside agencies can more easily navigate school sites across the county. By working together, we’re helping ensure a more coordinated and effective response in support of student safety.
