The PTA will be in the lobby tomorrow! Stop by and see us to turn in your membership form or pick up a new form to fill out if you haven’t already. You can also stop in to say hi and see what we have have planned for the 2026-2027 school year. We will have samples of a lot of the items coming up for our Spirit Wear sale and samples from the upcoming Charleston Wrap fundraiser. We can’t wait to see you!

Here is just one more reason we love our school! We caught these admin giving lessons to each class about expectations in the lunchroom, restrooms, and hallways this morning. Thank you Mrs. Barr, Mrs. Hogan and Mrs. Reese for making learning the rules of the school fun and engaging.

School-Wide Open House for All Grades
🕒 3:00–5:00 PM

Drop in anytime between 3:00 and 5:00 PM to:
✔️ Meet your child’s teacher
✔️ Visit classrooms
✔️ Bring school supplies
✔️ Get ready for an amazing school year!

Parent Orientation (2:00-3:00) is designed for K4, Kindergarten, and Learning Lab families to meet staff, ask questions, and learn what to expect for the upcoming school year.

🚌 District 5 Transportation representatives will be available to answer bus transportation questions.

💚 The YMCA After School Program and Good News Club will have information tables available.

🏥 Our school nurse will be available to answer health-related questions.

💳 PTA representatives will be in the cafeteria for anyone needing to pay PTA fees.

We cannot wait to welcome our Yellow Jacket families and kick off another fantastic school year! 💛🐝🖤

We are so excited for Mrs. Hogan and our Concord Family!!

Please join us in congratulating Mrs. Sarah Hogan as the new Assistant Principal of Concord Elementary School! 💛🖤

Mrs. Hogan has been a dedicated part of the Concord family for many years and currently serves as a 2nd grade teacher. Her love for our students, staff, and community shines through in all she does. We are excited for her to continue serving our school in this new leadership role and know she will be a wonderful asset to the Jacket Pack!

Day 4 of Teacher Appreciation Week was so fun!
Today our teachers got to visit our bouquet bar and got the cutest specialty cookies. Plus we have kept the coffee bar and popcorn machine going all week.

We have two more awesome days of Teacher Appreciation Week!

Tuesday: full coffee bar that will stay open all week plus donuts, fruit and yummy breakfast casseroles made by Concord families

Wednesday: they got treated to lunch from the Carolina Classic food truck plus desserts.

*Plus the PTA reached out to lots of local businesses for raffle prizes. And we have been awarding prizes all day! So far we have given gifts from Maren & Main, Cate’s , Perx, Eggs Up Grill, and Gotta Run of Anderson. We also reached out to multiple businesses who set up discounts for all of teachers to shop all week long.

We can’t wait for tomorrow!

Our PTA has been working tirelessly to prepare and kick off an amazing week of Teacher Appreciation for our whole staff!
Our theme this year is Wicked and we are celebrating our OZ-SOME staff all week long.
Today our staff got to enjoy a popcorn bar and they got lunch from Chick-fil-a. Plus we got their classes covered by our fabulous volunteers and admin team.
