We open for A Doll’s House during homecoming weekend and this will be a show you DON’T want to miss!!

A Doll’s House takes place in the 19th century in a Norwegian town. In the Helmers home, is a bourgeois marriage that is built on deception. This play explores themes of toxic familial cycles, personal identity, restricted freedoms based on gender, and facades of happiness.

Henrik Ibsen’s A Doll’s House, and its revivals, have won several prestigious theatre awards throughout broadway history. This is a story you will not want to miss!

Announcing our audition season!! Would you like to join the SMPA program here at AU? We would love to have you!

There is something special about a smaller musical theatre/theatre program… You get opportunities here like nowhere else!!

Here at Anderson University, our students experience one-on-one vocal/acting training with faculty and they get to audition AND perform EVERY semester! Whether it be General Stage Recitals or in a musical/play; our students get to experience it all.

Auditioning in person will give YOU the opportunity to meet some of our esteemed faculty, sing with voice professors, sit in on classes, and more… You also are most likely to receive music scholarships and grants when auditioning in person!!

She serves as our departmental musical theatre & theatre director and professor. This is her second year here at Anderson University and she is directing Henrik Ibsen’s: A Doll’s House. As well as the comic operetta: The Pirates of Penzance.
