Last week, our Dental Hygiene students had the opportunity to learn from a representative with Hu-Friedy, gaining experience with new equipment and Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) — a modern, minimally invasive dental cleaning protocol that uses advanced air-polishing technology to safely and comfortably remove plaque biofilm from teeth, gums, and implants.

Learning innovative techniques like GBT helps prepare our students with the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional patient care in today's dental practices.
