Anderson Commandery #32 will be conferring the Order of the Red Cross on August 24th. Dinner will be served at 6:00PM with the order to follow.

Congratulations to our own Eric Anderson for being inducted into the Knights of the York Cross of Honour (KYCH) today with Indiana Priory #8! Eric is a Past Master with Middletown #271 & Mount Moriah #77, Past High Priest of Middletown Chapter #143 & Anderson Chapter #52 Royal Arch Masons, Past Illustrious Master of Anderson Cryptic Council #69 Royal & Select Masters, and Past Commander of Anderson Commandery #32 Knights Templar. He currently serves as the Grand Chaplain of the Grand Chapter Royal Arch Masons of Indiana.

How does this work? With dispensation from the Grand Chapter, and when a Lodge gives us permission, we can confer the Mark Master Degree on Master Masons who wish to participate and pay the small $10 fee. There is no annual dues, unless you continue and join a Chapter of Royal Arch Masons.

There is no commitment to continue in the Royal Arch or York Rite, but you will have that first degree completed and if you want to continue, just submit the petition!

What do Master Masons get? This is a unique opportunity for Masonic Education. You will receive the full Mark Master Degree, which unto itself is an appendant body in the UK but is connected into the Royal Arch in the USA. You will get full understanding of our Keystone symbol, see what happens following the 3rd degree, find tidbits throughout the degree that answers some questions about the Blue Lodge itself, and learn an important moral and Masonic lesson in the process.

What if I'm already a current Royal Arch Mason? Then you can come and participate in the degree or join our Brothers on the sidelines. No additional fees are needed for Royal Arch Masons as you've already received this degree!

Thank you to our Most Excellent Grand High Priest for presenting us with the Grand Chapter banner yesterday. MEGH Tim Brinkmeyer is a member of Anderson #52 and Indianapolis #5 so he sent one banner to Indy and one to Anderson.
We were so happy to have our own Excellent High Priest in attendance yesterday and to see him installed as the Grand Lecturer. Excellent Companion Chris Bentlage has been recovering from an illness over the past few months and is still recovering, we ask for continued prayers for him. But we were happy to have him back enjoying the fellowship yesterday!
Thank you to all the visiting chapters and Grand Chapter officers (and some Grand Council guys) who made yesterday's instructional a wonderful day of education and fellowship. Please visit us any time!
