We are excited to welcome Jennifer Wallace to our Owl Family as an Instructional Assistant at Anderson-Shiro Junior/Senior High!

Mrs. Wallace earned her Bachelor’s degree in Forestry from Stephen F. Austin State University. Six years ago, when her youngest child started kindergarten, she began working as a substitute teacher in Cy-Fair. Last year, she continued her work in education as a paraprofessional at Sprague Middle School.

Mrs. Wallace and her family recently moved to the area from Cypress, Texas. She is married to her husband, Travis, and they have four children: Carson, Callie, Caleb, and Carly. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her family and watching her kids play sports—which is where you can usually find her!

We are excited about the experience and energy she will bring to our students. Welcome to the Owl Family, Mrs. Wallace!

We set a goal for 2029. Our Owls reached it in 2026. 🎯💙🦉

In 2024, Anderson-Shiro CISD's College, Career & Military Readiness (CCMR) score was 76%. Today, we are celebrating 91%, a 15-point increase in just two years! 90% was the CCMR goal on our District Scorecard for 2029. We reached it THREE YEARS ahead of schedule. We're proud of all the hard work that has gone into making this happen!! It's time to raise the bar!! Next stop, 100%!!💙🦉

We're excited to share that we earned an A in the 2026 TEA Accountability Ratings with an overall score of 91! These numbers represent students who worked hard, teachers who refused to stop believing, staff members who showed up every day, leaders who stayed focused, families who supported us, and a community that continues to believe in our schools.
