🚀 Eastside Explorers: Mission Possible! 🚀
We have had such a GREAT first few weeks at Eastside Elementary! 💙 We are so excited about how smoothly our school year is going and the amazing things happening with our students and staff.
Even in the midst of the flooding that has impacted so many in our community, our Eastside Explorers have continued to show what it means to be a community. Over the past few weeks, we have been focusing on kindness, community, and empathy, and we are seeing those words come to life in the most meaningful ways. 💕
Our students are collecting items, donating money, checking on friends, and looking for ways to help staff and families who have been affected by the flooding. Our staff and families have also stepped up in incredible ways. It has been amazing to watch everyone come together to support one another. 🫶
This is what being an Eastside Explorer is all about. We learn together. We care for one another. We serve our community. And when our community needs us, we show up!

Join us August 18–25 as we collect essential hygiene items for families impacted by the recent flooding. New underwear and new socks preferred; all hygiene items accepted. Donations will be available through the Explorer Family Food Pantry on August 25 from 5:00–6:30 PM or by request.

We couldn’t be more proud of our kiddos and our incredible staff! 💙 The kids were absolutely amazing, and our staff worked together to make the first week such a positive, successful, and fun start to the school year.
We are so thankful for our E2 family and the energy, excitement, and teamwork we’ve already seen throughout our building. What a great way to kick off the year! 🥰

🚀 Eastside Elementary Career of the Month: We Need YOU! 🚀

Throughout the school year, our goal is to expose students to a variety of college and career pathways by connecting classroom learning to real-world experiences.

We are looking for members of our community who would be willing to share their career journey with our students! Whether it’s a short classroom visit, a Q&A session, a demonstration, or sharing what a typical day looks like in your field, our students would love to learn from YOU. 💙

Greetings, Eastside Elementary Families,

We hope you're having a wonderful summer! We are excited to welcome all of our Eastside Explorers back for the 2026–2027 school year.

Here are a few important reminders as we prepare for the first day of school on Wednesday, August 5:

Office Hours: Beginning July 22, the Eastside office will be open Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.– 4:00 p.m. Please call the office if you have any questions.

Please bring your child's birth certificate, immunization records, proof of residency, and a parent/guardian photo ID.

ParentSquare: All school communication, announcements, reminders, and attendance notifications will be sent through ParentSquare. Please make sure your account is active.

Meet the Teacher:
Monday, August 3 | 4:00–6:00 p.m. – Grades 2–5
Tuesday, August 4 | 4:00–6:00 p.m. – Grades K–1

Families are encouraged to bring school supplies during Meet the Teacher.
