🏃🏃‍♀️Running Club starts on Wednesday, September 9th. Students must be signed up and have paid the $10 registration fee before they can attend. Attached is the QR code to sign up AND pay. Coach Holt also needs volunteers to help out. Plase contact him if you are interested.

Our PTO NEEDS YOU! We have several ways that you can help our PTO. It definitely takes a village to support our school and make our events run smoothly for our students, teachers, and families. Join our PTO for $5 per family. The TOP 3 classes in the school with the most membership will win an ICE CREAM PARTY!! Also, you can order your class t-shirt. Orders for shirts are due 9/3. Use the QR code and you can pay for joining the PTO and your class t-shirt. Support our students! Support our school!

⭐ #1 in the State for Overall ELA Growth

According to results released by the South Carolina Department of Education, Anderson Five experienced the most growth in ELA performance across all tested grade levels (3–8) 📈.

Real proud of this one. Great rankings are always nice, but this isn't the finish line - it's a checkpoint that tells us we're tracking in the right direction and gives us even more reason to keep going!💪

🏫🖍️We are looking forward to welcoming all of our families to Back-to-School-Orientation on Thursday, August. We hope it will be an informative meeting for you.

Please see the attached flier with the times for different meetings we will have before orientation and for the 3 orientation times. If you would like to be on the PTO and help in any way, please come to the 4:30-5:00 meeting. Any amount of time big or small that you have to help the PTO we welcome. We look forward to seeing everyone!

We are so proud to celebrate these students for earning a PERFECT score on SC READY! 🎉🏆

Although they have now moved on to Southwood Middle School, they will always be part of our Centerville family. ❤️🐏 Their hard work and dedication make us so proud, and we are excited to celebrate this amazing accomplishment with them!

🚗 CAR RIDER REMINDERS! 🚗

As we continue getting comfortable with our new car rider system, we want to remind everyone of a few important things that help us keep dismissal running smoothly:

❤️ Please have your car tag displayed when picking up your child.

🚗 Please stay in the car rider line and do not cut over until you are directed to do so. Our students line up inside in 6 groups, so keeping cars in order helps us match students with their cars safely and efficiently.

We know new routines take a little time to get used to, and we truly appreciate your patience, cooperation, and understanding as we implement this new system!

And just like that… the first week is DONE! 😂🍎

The excitement was real. The smiles were big. The energy was… questionable by 3:00. 😂

We absolutely LOVE the first week of school and our amazing CES teachers! ❤️🐏 Here’s to a fantastic year!
