Kay Wehner is a 1967 graduate of Anderson High School. After graduation, she attended Business College to become a Medical Assistant and worked various jobs. In 1976, she was hired to work on a city project that was located at the then Anderson Area Vocational-Technical School. In 1979, she was hired by Anderson Community Schools and began her career at Anderson High School. During her time at Anderson High School she has held several titles including: Principal’s Secretary, Bookkeeper, Registrar, and Counseling Secretary where she has helped to establish and maintain many processes for the daunting task of scheduling for our high school students. She is proud to have spent about three-fourths of her life at Anderson High School. She’s also proud to have been an ACS student and attended Longfellow Elementary School, Central Avenue School, South Side Junior High School, and then Anderson High School. We are so of Kay and that she has chosen to give so much of her life to Anderson High School!
