We finished our unit on Yoon and the Jade Bracelet, so of course we had to make our own “jade” bracelets

We’ve started personal narrative writing and are learning how “small moments” and little details bring a story to life. One student is writing about riding a roller coaster, so we watched a few rider point-of-view videos to experience the sights and sounds of the ride. 🎢

I’d say the lesson was a success 🎢

📸 Families, please remember that tomorrow is Picture Day! Please do not wear green.

🏈📣 If your child participates in a sport, please have them bring their jersey or uniform to school. After individual pictures, the school would like to take a group photo of all of our athletes in their uniforms.

Students may change in the bathroom. If you do not want your child to stay in their uniform for the rest of the day, just let me know and I will make sure they change after the group photo. ❤️

🦋 My stars have started learning all about animal adaptations! Yesterday, they were challenged to camouflage a butterfly and hide it somewhere in our classroom. 🦋🔍

📣Ask your student if camouflage is a physical or behavioral adaptation—they know! 😉

I’ve done this activity several times before, but I have to say… these butterflies were EXPERTLY camouflaged!
