Our next FFA meeting is Monday, October 26th at 6:00 pm! Come dressed for Ag Olympics. Parents can attend the Booster Club meeting at the same time.

We are also still in need of candy/snack/prize donations and students to work the table for Trunk or Treat. See flyer for more details.

Reminder that all fundraiser orders and money are due tomorrow to Mrs. Moriarty. You can turn it before school starting at 7:20, during your Ag class, advisory, lunch or right after school.

Also, membership packets are tomorrow to be added to the FFA roster this year!

We are so excited to be participating in Trunk or Treat this year. See flyer for more details. Donations can be dropped off at the Ag Building. Donations and working the event count for a community service project.

Be sure you have these upcoming dates marked down on your calendar!

-Membership packets can be picked up from an Ag teacher or found in the Anderson-Shiro FFA Handbook. These must be turned in by October 2nd to be added to the FFA roster. You can check the Meeting Tracker spreadsheet on the FFA website (linked in Facebook bio) to see if your packet as been turned in. If your name is highlighted yellow, that means we have your packet.

-Seitz Fundraiser - all money and orders are due during your Ag class on October 2nd.

-If you purchased tags for a major lamb/goat/heifer, tag-in is October 20th at our school barn. Lambs/goats are from 4:00-5:00 pm and heifers are from 5:00-6:00 pm.

-Onalaska LDE Contest - all LDE teams will be going to compete during the school day.

-FFA/Booster Club meeting - 6:00 pm in the Cafeteria/Library

-LDE Showcase - following our meetings, parents/community members can come listen to our LDE teams present. This is a great way to see what our students have been working hard on this semester.

Yesterday, ten of our new FFA members attended the Blacklands District Greenhand Camp! These members had the opportunity to learn more about FFA, build new friendships, develop leadership skills, and make memories that will last a lifetime.

We’re also especially proud of two of our current officers, Becca and Ethan, who serve on the Blacklands District Officer Team and helped host this year’s camp! Their dedication to serving others and strengthening FFA across our district is something to celebrate.

We’re excited to see where these Greenhands go next as they continue their FFA experience! 💙💛
