Weather Notice: Early Closure Tomorrow

Due to the hurricane, the Academy, Camp, and Daycare will close at 12:00 noon tomorrow, Friday, October 9. Please arrange for all children to be picked up by noon.

AES Families: We will pick up children from AES as normal. Parents should pick up their children from Guardian Angel by 12:00 noon.

Upper Academy Families: Students who choose not to attend tomorrow will receive an excused absence. Please notify your child’s teacher in advance so assignments can be sent home for completion.

The safety of our students, families, and staff is our priority. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We pray that everyone stays safe throughout the storm!

Some people see “summer camp.”

We see 11 weeks.
150ish campers.
Thousands of snacks.
Countless Band-Aids.
Endless sunscreen.
Hundreds of hugs.
A few tears.
A lot of laughter.
And enough memories to last a lifetime.

Today, some of our Camp Te Amo teachers are wrapping up their summer, and we wanted them to know just how much they are TREASURED 💛

If you’ve ever worked with children, you know this isn’t an easy job. It’s hot. It’s exhausting. It’s loud. It requires patience you didn’t know you had and love that never seems to run out.

Were we perfect every single day? Probably not. When you spend 11 hours a day caring for 150ish children, there will always be moments you wish you could do differently. But one thing I know for certain is this:

These teachers showed up.
They loved your children.
They protected them.
They encouraged them.
They prayed over them.
And week after week, they’ll do it all over again.

To our Camp Te Amo team… thank you for pouring your hearts into this summer. You are more valuable than gold, and we couldn’t have made it through these 11 weeks without you.

Our final 4 days is next week and we are ending with a 💥💥💥
