FRUSTRATION IS A NECESSITY

You see here Little Wild at Heart, Wendy’s transformation into the present day. Aboard Jasper of course.

What you don’t see here are all the bumps, stubbles, and face plants I’ve had along the way. If our road was easy, we would never grow into who we’re supposed to be. We would become complacent and dull.

I have learned something very valuable on this ride we call life. Frustration happens when we run out of knowledge. Frustration is a gift, a guide, pointing us smack in the direction we need to learn in order to grow.

When you start looking for the frustration in your life, you will find right where you need to pause in order to learn so you can make your road a little smoother and keep going.

My question is, do you look for the frustration in your life, or do you turn tail and run?

I will never forget this day as long as I live. That’s Karen Wales there loading 2 year old Mouse to come home to her farm.

Karen literally pulled me through some of the darkest times/years in my life.

Wild Acres Ranch would not exist today if Karen hadn’t say “Yes” without hesitation when I asked if I could keep a horse at her place. She found and brought home the first 2 horses I bought as an adult.

She taught me everything I had no idea I didn’t know. She taught me timing, feel, leg cues, how to slide the split reins through my hands, heels down, keep going, grit, grace, how to tie a hitching knot, how to give to others and expect nothing in return, just to name a few.

If you’ve taken lessons with me, I’m sure you’ve heard me talk about Karen. She’s a true horse woman in every sense of the word. She’s a legend.

Thank you Karen. You have helped so many, by simply helping one. I will forever pay it forward because of you.💚
