Auburn University and the Alabama Extension Office representatives, Lisa Jones and Tara Ramer, had the opportunity to speak with LBW’s Child Development students about the importance of healthy eating and how the MyPlate Plan can help create balanced, nutritious meals.
Students learned tips for incorporating fruits, vegetables, grains, protein, and dairy into their daily routines while gaining a better understanding of how nutrition supports growth, development, and overall health.
LBW is thankful to have community support. Together, we can inspire students to make healthy choices and help promote lifelong healthy habits as they become future professionals working with children and families.
