As another school year comes to a close across Anchorage, we want to take a moment to congratulate all students, families, educators, and graduates on the incredible work and growth that happened this year.🥳

While OCEANS Academy will not be opening for the 2026–2027 school year, our vision remains strong, and our excitement for the future continues to grow. We will use this additional time to strengthen our foundation, continue building partnerships, refine our programs, and ensure we are fully prepared to launch the exceptional learning experience our students deserve.

We are looking forward to opening our doors for the 2027-2028 school year and continuing the work of creating an engaging, outdoor-connected, student-centered high school experience for Anchorage families.

Thank you to everyone who has supported, encouraged, and believed in OCEANS Academy so far. Your enthusiasm and commitment mean so much to us, and we cannot wait to continue this journey together.

Beginning this year, ASD’s online lottery waitlists will reset annually.

Students must reapply each year to be considered for programs or schools outside their neighborhood zone.
