Thank you KCC students and supporters. Today was my last day after 25 years of teaching. I was lucky to spend my last work day with my precious daughter, Hannah.

Entrepreneur of the Week
By Mia
“Chef don’t judge,” is Aaron Blum’s motto. Aaron is an accepting and outgoing young man. With experience in Boy Scouts, Taekwondo and many outdoor activities, he exhibits great personality traits, such as hardwork and determination.
During his free time, Aaron enjoys a good book or any sorts of music.
Growing up in Anchorage, Alaska, one of his favorite things to do was set up camp and fish all over the state. One day Aaron hopes to run his own technology repair company or work for Apple, where he has already applied for a position. He plans to pursue this in the next 5 years by studying at Avtec IT, while continuing to hang out with friends and care for his adorable cat.
Aaron is the CEO of the business Milk N’ Cookies. His first venture, Pick Up N’ Go, picked up and went – the business did not catch on, so rather than become demoralized, Aaron and his team pivoted to a new business that sells oven fresh cookies to the students and staff at KCC. Now their business outperforms the competition during second session at KCC.

Our entrepreneurship students stayed busy today during KCC's Hiring Event, during which more than 70 business representatives were on hand to hire our students for jobs. Our students interviewed, helped with hospitality, and actually promoted products from their own stores.
