UAA Tau Kappa Epsilon

It is with heavy hearts today we mourn the passing of the man who brought Tau Kappa Epsilon to UAA. Very few men carry a character and will power that Max had. We will miss you Brother

A day late with the post, but the Fraters were on time yesterday for twin day and Greek Week Spirit!

Tremendous start to the 2019 Greek Week at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Big shout out to frater Dominic Fisk for putting in the extra work on this years banner!

Over the course of the last two days, the gentlemen of the Phi-Alpha Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon were able to collaborate with KBEAR 104.1 Alaska's Hottest Country to raise funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. This was an incredible experience, and we want to thank everyone who generously donated their time and money to the cause to end pediatric cancer!

Come to the UAA Cuddy Quad and smash away some of life's stress! Just $10 for a minute or $5 for 30 seconds of all the damage you can dish out! Accepting both cash and Venmo! Starting Tuesday through Thursday you can find us there from 10am-5pm!

On December 1st, 2017, our chapter had to say a very sorrowful goodbye to our dear friend and brother Jonathan B. Goode, who tragically took his own life. Tonight, we celebrated his memory with a candlelight vigil. We take this time to remember who he was, but also to look to the future and how we can prevent this heartbreaking occurrence from happening again. If you, or anyone you know is having suicidal thoughts, please seek help. The wonderful people at the Alaska CARELINE are always willing to help, and around the nation and the world, su***de prevention services exist so that no life would be cut short. Anothery year of growth and change has passed, but it’s always great to look at where we came from. Thank you to all of the friends, family, and fraters who helped get us this far. It has been an amazing three years, and we look forward to many more.

We are starting Pie A Teke in less than 30 minutes in the UAA Student Union! For all of you who can’t be here in person, we are now accepting donations and pie submissions through Venmo! Just scan the QR code to be taken to our account! Make sure to include your name and the name of your chosen victim...whoops, we mean frater!
