After talking with the Tatitlek Cultural Heritage Week crew, Post Malone stopped by NYO to support Chugach kiddos!! That’s so thoughtful of him!!

Our Student Representatives just went to Juneau for AASB’s Youth Advocacy Legislative Fly-In.
Joseph was most excited about the coffee maker in the Airbnb so he could make chocolate mocha (or something like that). Gabby loved winning our bowling game… all by herself… without any score adjustments…..

Both students learned about current bills in the House and Senate, spoke to the representatives, and met new people from all around the state. They represented their home towns and their school district so well. We are incredibly proud of them!

Huge thanks to Service Baseball for spending the evening at the District Office/Voyage School clearing brush, picking up garbage, raking and bagging leaves, and overall improving the grounds! We appreciate you!

In February, our student representatives set out to Juneau for AASB’s Leadership Academy & Legislative Fly-In and Youth Advocacy Institute. They learned about the role governments play in education, spoke to legislatures, andd so much more!

Gabby, Elle, and Shelton were fantastic representatives of CSD, and are already looking forward to next year! (Minus Elle, since she graduates the year 🥳)
