Our school filled with the sweet sounds of student voices this week. Ms. Hayes, our amazing music teacher, presented our spring choir show this week. Over 30 students regularly participated in choir weekly during the spring. They were able to showcase their talents in the South Choir Festival, at our volunteer breakfast and at the choir concert this week. (check video in the comments).
The eggs have hatched! Kindergarten learns about life cycles by incubating eggs every spring. It is always an exciting surprise for the whole school when the eggs hatch.
April is Volunteer Appreciation Month and we held our annual volunteer breakfast this week. Our choir sang while our guests enjoyed a breakfast before school. We are so thankful for all of our volunteers at Bear Valley. From driving to field trips, making copies, PTA events and more, our volunteers go above and beyond to help our staff and students.

What about students who will be in Kindergarten in the 2026-27 school year?
This process is slightly different. Families of incoming Kindergarten students should begin by following the pre-enrollment process, which is open now through May 29 then will re-open July 15.

The weather forced the fun inside but it sure didn’t slow us down. We had our annual Fun Run on Friday! The students did an amazing job running and raising funds with PTA to support our school. Way to go Cubs!
