Habemus Papam! We have a Pope!
The Cardinals gathered in the Vatican’s Sistine Chapel have elected Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost as the 267th Pope, who took the name Pope Leo XIV.
"I announce to you a great joy;
we have a Pope:
The Most Eminent and Most Reverend Lord,
Lord Robert Francis
Cardinal of the Holy Roman Church Prevost
who has taken the name Leo XIV."
Cardinal Protodeacon Dominique Mamberti announces that the Cardinals have elected Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost, who took the name Pope Leo XIV.

Pope Francis died on Monday, April 21, 2025, at the age of 88 at his residence in the Vatican's Casa Santa Marta.
Pray for the repose of the soul of Pope Francis. He passed on today. May his soul rest in peace. Amen
