Did you know Seawolf Debate consistently performs among the top university debate teams in the world? On May 4, UAA hosted and won an exhibition debate against the No. 1-ranked university debate team in the nation. Seawolf Debate and Falcon Forensics of the United States Air Force Academy debated whether Anchorage should adopt a 3% sales tax. The judges sided with UAA in a 2-1 vote (although the Air Force won the audience poll). We are proud of our debaters and how they lead and serve their communities ▶️ heyor.ca/lKlupM!

UAA project management graduate student and cross-country runner Drew Johnson landed his dream job at NASA. 🚀🌕 In fact, he was involved in the historic Artemis II launch last April. It may have rained, but the UAA Auto & Diesel Expo shined! ✨🚙 The fourth annual car show was a success. Check out these stats:
🛠️ 40 industry partners in attendance
🛻 Over 100 vehicles in the car and truck show
🏆 More than 30 vehicles in our three contests -- Revving, Car Limbo, and Burnout
