🔍 Spring ‘26 NEW Course Alert: HUMS A241 – Understanding Guardianship and Conservatorship

Curious about how legal authority is granted to support vulnerable adults? This course explores the laws and ethics behind guardianship and conservatorship—from statutory authority to fiduciary responsibilities. Students will examine alternatives like power of attorney and supported decision-making, and learn how person-centered practices shape medical and legal obligations. Perfect for students in human services, legal studies, or social work who want to deepen their understanding of adult advocacy and care.
